Export licensing requirement

On 20 March 2020, Sri Lanka through Extraordinary Gazette No. 2167/17 notified that the exports or re-exports of disposable surgical face masks and N95 type face masks will require prior written approval of the National Medicines Regulatory Authority.

This export restriction was withdrawn on 11 April 2020 through Extraordinary Gazette No. 2170/9.
