Anti-dumping

On May 2, 2014 the U.S. International Trade Commission determined that a U.S. industry is materially injured or threatened with material injury by reason of imports of diffusion-annealed, nickel-plated flat-rolled steel products from Japan. As a result of this ruling, an anti-dumping order was issued at the margins determined by the U.S. Department of Commerce .The case began on March 27, 2013,when the Thomas Steel Strip Corporation filed an anti-dumping petition against diffusion-annealed, nickel-plated steel flat-rolled products imported from Japan.
