On 27 March 2020, the government of Niger eliminated the customs duties on medical products such as masks and disinfectants that fall under the fight against Coronavirus.

Import tariff

On 27 March 2020, the government of Niger eliminated the customs duties on medical products such as masks and disinfectants that fall under the fight against Coronavirus. According to the WTO tariff data, previously the import tariffs were ranging between 5% to 35%. 

The decision is announced as part of the government’s response to the Coronavirus pandemic.
