Import licensing requirement

In Announcement no. 38 of 2012, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) has eliminated the obligation to obtain an automatically issued import license on a number of electrical and machinery products, such as boilers, steam and water turbines, and electrical installations, in order to promote imports of these products.
