In September 2012, the members of the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan initiated a new anti-dumping investigation and a definitive duty was imposed in 2013. In January 2018, the definitive duty was terminated.

Anti-dumping

On September 18, 2012, the Department to protect the internal market of the Eurasian Economic Commission initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of cast-iron enamelled bathtubs from China.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 7324.2100.
On December 27, 2012, the Department to protect the internal market of the Eurasian Economic Commission decided to impose a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of cast-iron enamelled bathtubs from China. The rate of the duty is 51.87%. This duty entered into force on January 26, 2013.
On April 15, 2013, the Department to protect the internal market of the Eurasian Economic Commission decided to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of cast-iron enamelled bathtubs from China. The rate of the duty remains 51.87%. This definitive duty entered into force on May 26, 2013 and is to remain in force until 25 January 2018.

On 25 January 2018, the Eurasian Economic Union terminated the definitive duty imposed on imports of enamelled baths of cast iron from China. The duty was terminated as it was set to expire.
