Import tariff

The Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (CAMEX) has issued Resolution no. 51/2012, in which the import tariff on vegetable fats and oils, and their fractions (NCM 1516.20.00) was temporarily reduced to 2% (from 10%), under an import quota of 750 tonnes.
The measure entered into force on July 25th, 2012, the new tariffs are applicable for 12 months.
