NewsDay, November 21, 2012, 'New tariff regime for chicken imports': http://www.newsday.co.zw/2012/11/21/new-tariff-regime-for-chicken-imports/
On 16 November 2012, Zimbabwe has altered the tariff structure on certain poultry products (HS Codes 0207.11.00, 0207.12.00, 0207.13.00, and 0207.14.90). While previously at 40% of imported value, the new tariff remains at that percentage but a minimum duty of US$ 1.50 per kg is introduced. For all products with imported values below US$ 3.75/kg this constitutes an increase of the import duty.
