Inception date: 30 Nov 2012 | Removal date: open ended

On November 30th, 2012, the Government of Argentina decided upon the extension of the anti-dumping duty in force on imports of radial ball bearings of a diameter between 30mm and 120mm (excluding the RST type) originating in China. The concerned HS code is: 8482.1010. The rate of duty is between USD 7.45 and 21.09 per kg of the minimum f.o.b. price.
The original measure was imposed on May 30th, 2006 and the sunset review investigation was initiated on May 30th, 2011. The duty is extended for another 5 years.

On 30 November 2017, the Argentinian authorities initiated a sunset review of the antidumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from China. This follows the application lodged by SKF ARGENTINA S.A. The duty remains in force for the duration of this investigation.

On 12 November 2018, the Argentinian authorities extended the definitive antidumping duty imposed on imports of certain radial balls from China following the conclusion of the sunset review. The rate of duty is the difference between the set minimum FOB export value and the declared FOB export price. The set FOB export value is between USD 6.45 and 15.62 per kilogram depending on the specific product series. Definitive duties are only applied to goods with a declared FOB export price lower than the set FOB export value. The measure is in force for a period of three years.
