Anti-dumping

On 10 November 2012, the European Commission announced the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation on imports of stainless steel tube and pipe butt-welding fittings (whether finished or not finished) originating in China and Chinese Taipei.
The complaint was lodged on 28 September 2012 by the Defense Committee of the Stainless Steel Butt-welding Fittings Industry of the European Union.
The products subject to investigations are classified under the following HS codes: 7307.2310 and 7307.2390.
On August 20, 2013, the European Commission decided to terminate the anti-dumping investigation on imports of stainless steel tube and pipe butt-welding fittings from China and Chinese Taipei. This decision entered into force on August 22, 2013.
