In June 2019, the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a loan agreement with Engineering Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A. to support the company's development of new software technologies and related applications.

On 6 June 2019, the European Investment Bank (EIB) and Engineering Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A. signed a loan agreement having a total value of EUR 60 million (approx. USD 67.7 million). The EIB financing will support the company's development of new software technologies and related applications for customers in the utilities, telecommunications and financial sectors as well as the public administration. The loan is granted under the Italian Risk-Sharing Initiative for RDI, see related state act.
Engineering Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A. has its headquarters in Italy and is present in a number of European countries as well as in the United State and Latin America. The company is a provider of software technology solutions to public and private entities.
A state act in the GTA database is assessed solely in terms of the extent to which its implementation affects foreign commercial interests. On this metric, the investment support granted here is discriminatory.
