Export ban

The government of Myanmar has announced a plan to gradually reduce timber exports and eventually ban all wood exports starting from 1st April 2014 to prevent rapid deforestation of the country. 
To date, no official document announcing this measure could be found on the web, but several news articles confirm the measure.
