Internal taxation of imports

On 6 July 2011, the Russian Government amended the List of Equipment Eligible for VAT-Free Imports.

The Government decided to exclude the equipment with the following tariff lines from the list:

  • 8417 10 000 0,
  • 8428 90 300 0,
  • 8454 30 900 1,
  • 8454 30 900 2,
  • 8455 21 000 1 and
  • 8455 21 000 2. 

 

The decree enters into force on 14 September 2011.

Import incentive

On 6 July 2011, the Russian Government amended the List of Equipment Eligible for VAT-Free Imports.

The Government added equipment under tariff line 8474 39 900 9 classified as "mix preparation plant for preparing the molding sand for foundry with a capacity of 160 t/h".

Equipment under tariff line 8477 20 000 0  was amended to include "extrusion equipment for the production of treads and sidewalls "Quadruplex".

Equipment under tariff line 8479 30 100 9 was amended to include MDF Board Production Line with a productivity of 215 m3 per day. 

The decree enters into force on 14 September 2011.
