Safeguard

On 1 September 2019, the Jordanian authorities initiated a safeguard investigation on imports of potato chips or potato prepared or preserved without vinegar or acetic acids and non-frozen. The products subject to investigation are respectively classified under HS code subheadings 2106.90.99.2 and 2005.20.90. This follows an application lodged by the domestic industry.
