Import tariff

The Serbian government introduced a temporary duty free regime for imports of sunflower oil (HS code 1512 19 90 00) between October 6, 2012 and April 6, 2013. The regime is only effective for sunflower imports lower than 20,000 tonnes (Official Gazette of Serbia No. 96/2012 of October 5, 2012). The measure was taken after the drought in summer in order to prevent the rise of food prices in Serbia.
