Import tariff

On 31 October 2018, with a Presidential Decree, the government of Turkey announced an import tariff decrease on sesamum seeds classified in the Turkish Customs Tariff Schedule under the customs tariff codes 1207.40.10.00.00, 1207.40.90.00.11, and 1207.40.90.00.12 from 4%, 10%, and 23.4% to 0%, 0% and 10% respectively. The new duty comes into effect on the announcement date.
