On 14 September 2012, Switzerland decided to facilitate the visaapplication process. Citizens of 33 countries (besides the EU/EFTA) nolonger need a visa to enter Switzerland, if they plan to stay inSwitzerland up to 90 days. Nevertheless, this measures excludesmigration for working purposes. Still, the change makes it easier for representatives of foreign firms to visit Switzerland for the purpose of expanding their commercial activities.
