On 24 June 2019, the KfW IPEX-Bank announced providing financing to support exports of Euro 6 diesel buses. The financial support has a total value of USD 100.5 million. More specifically, a subsidiary of the company Comercial Kaufmann S.A. is purchasing 490 Euro 6 diesel buses built by the German company Daimler. The buses are purchased for the Chilean public transport system Transantiago. 

In this context, member of the Management Board of KfW IPEX-Bank Andreas Ufer stated that among other areas the financing: "supports the German export industry with this project and safeguards domestic jobs." 

A state act in the GTA database is assessed solely in terms of the extent to which its implementation affects foreign commercial interests. On this metric, the investment support granted here is discriminatory.
