On 24 June 2019, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of hot-dip galvanised steel angles from China. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheadings: 7216.61.00, 7228.70.00, 7308.30.00 and 7308.90.00. This follows the application lodged by Galintel Pty Ltd.

On 18 September 2020, the Australian authorities terminated the antidumping investigation on imports of the subject good from China without the imposition of duties. The investigation is terminated without the imposition of duties as it was concluded that the injury towards the domestic industry caused by dumping was negligible.
