Anti-dumping

On June 6, 2008, the Australian Customs Service initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of tubeless steel demountable rims from China.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 8708.7099.
The complaint was lodged on April 28, 2008 by Arrowcrest Group Pty Ltd.
On November 5, 2008, the Australian authorities decided to impose a provisional anti-dumping duty on the products under investigation (Australian Customs Dumping Notice No. 2008/40, 05.11.2008). The rate of the duty ranges from 2.1% to 239.1%.
On December 31, 2008, the Australian authorities decided to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of tubeless steel demountable rims from China (Australian Customs Dumping Notice No. 2008/50, 31.12.2008). The rate of the duty ranges from 2.1% to 239.1%.
This duty eypired on January 1, 2014 since no application for revision and continuation has been lodged.
