On June 9, 2012, the Ukrainian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of medical glass containers, with a capacity not exceeding 0.15 liter, from Russia.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 7010.9071 and 7010.9079.
On May 29, 2013, the Ukrainian authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of certain types of medical glass containers from Russia. The rate of the duty is 27.99%, at the exception of the company Berezichsky Glass Works whose exports are subject to the payment of the duty of 13.08%. This duty entered into force in 30 days from the date of publication of the notice, i.e. on June 28, 2013.

On 27 April 2018, the Ukrainian authorities initiated a sunset review of the definitive antidumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from Russia. This follows the application lodged by Mar'yanivka Glass Factory (Мар’янівський склозавод).

On 6 April 2019, the Ukrainian authorities extended the definitive duty imposed on imports of certain medical glass containers from Russia following the conclusion of the sunset review. The rate of duty remains at 13.08% or 27.99%. The duty is extended for a period of five years.
