In February 2012, the government of India initiated a new anti-dumping investigation and imposed definitive duties in October 2013. In October 2018, the definitive duty was terminated.

Anti-dumping

On February 22, 2012, the Indian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of bulk drug cefadroxil monohydrate from the European Union. The product subject to investigation is classified under the following HS code: 2942.0011. The dumping is suspected to have occurred between April 1, 2010, and December 31, 2011.

On October 10, 2013, the Indian authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of bulk drug cefadroxil monohydrate imported from the European Union. The amount of duty ranges from USD 7.88 to USD 9.03 per kilogram, depending on the exporting company.

On 9 October 2018, the definitive duty was terminated on imports of bulk drug cefadroxil monohydrate from the European Union. The measure was terminated as it was set to expire after a period of five years.
