In June 2012, the government of India initiated a new anti-dumping investigation and imposed definitive duties in September 2013. In September 2018, the definitive duty was terminated.

On June 27, 2012, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiated an anti-dumping investigation on sodium perchlorate imported from China. The application was filed by M/s Calibre Chemicals Pvt Ltd., which is the sole manufacturer of the product under consideration (HS-8 2829 9010). The dumping is suspected to have occurred between April 1, 2011, and March 31, 2012.
On September 6, 2013, the Indian authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of sodium perchlorate from China. The amount of this duty is USD 0.23 per kilogram.
On 5 September 2018, the definitive duty was terminated on imports of sodium perchlorate from China. The measure was terminated as it was set to expire after a period of five years.
