Price stabilisation

On 27 October 2018, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Ecuador has adopted Ministerial Ordinance 135 establishing the new reference price for bananas. The changes introduced have led to an increase in the reference price from USD 6.26 to USD 6.30 per 43 lb box.

The new price applies for the period ranging between 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019.

 
Update
On 9 November 2018, the Ecuadorian Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock has changed the reference price set on bananas increasing it from USD 6.30 to USD 7.30. The new price applies for the period ranging between 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019.
