Export licensing requirement

On 3 September 2018, the Ministry of Agroindustry of Argentina has adopted General Resolution 290/2018 replacing the list of products subject to mandatory Advanced Sworn Export Declaration. As a result, 21 new tariffs subheadings are now subject to mandatory export declarations. The affected tariffs subheadings have been: 1002.90.00, 1004.90.00, 1008.29.90, 1104.22.00, 1207.60.90, 1515.11.00, 1515.19.00, 1515.90.90, 2304.00.90, 2306.20.00, 2306.49.00, 1208.10.00, 1507.90.11, 1507.90.90, 2302.50.00, 2308.00.00, 1518.00.90, 2309.90.10, 2309.90.60, 2309.90.90 and 1008.29.10.

The Advanced Sworn Export Declaration is a tool implemented by the government to monitor the exportation of certain agricultural commodities and exporters are obliged to present them within less than 24 hours after the sale of the good and it is valid for 360 days.
