In March 2012, the government of Turkey initiated a new anti-dumping investigation and in September 2013 a definitive duty was imposed. In September 2018, a sunset review was initiated.

On March 20, 2012, the Turkish authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of electric storage water heaters from China, Italy and Serbia. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 8516.1080. The dumping is suspected to have occurred between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011.
On September 19, 2013, the Turkish authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of electric storage water heaters from China, Italy and Serbia. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in China ranges from 22% to 49% of the CIF value, depending on the exporting company. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in Italy ranges from 9% to 24% of the CIF value, depending on the exporting company. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in Serbia is 29% of the CIF value.
On 8 September 2018, the Turkish authorities initiated a sunset review of the antidumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from China, Italy and Serbia. This follows the application lodged by Türk Demirdöküm Fabrikaları A.Ş., Baymak Mak. San. ve Tic. A.Ş., Emas Makina Sanayi A.Ş. and Vestel Beyaz Eşya Sanayi Tic. A.Ş. The definitive antidumping duty will remain in force for the duration of the investigation.
