The Argentine Government eliminated the import criterion values set on certain data processing machines, products of glass fibre, polyethene terephthalate, a certain type of flat-rolled products of stainless steel, and certain textured yarn of polyesters originating in multiple markets.

On 25 January 2019, the Federal Administration for Public Revenue of Argentina (i.e. AFIP by its Spanish acronym) has adopted General Resolution 4404/2019 eliminating the reference prices set on several goods classified under tariffs subheadings NCM 3907.60.00, 5503.20.90, 7019.59.00, 7219.21.00, 7219.22.00, 7219.23.00, 7219.31.00, 7219.32.00, 7219.33.00, 7219.34.00, 7219.35.00, 8471.60.52, 8471.60.53 and 8477.10.11.
The new reference prices have been set at USD 0.00, while the previously applicable reference prices were the following:
The new legislation affected the following jurisdictions: the Republic of Korea, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, China, Chinese Taipei, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Canada, United States of America, Mexico, South Africa, Finland, Hungary, Norway, Poland, United Kingdom, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Czech Republic and Russia.
This measure applied to imports taking place as of 28 January 2019.
