On 26 September 2014, Malaysia government announced a change in import formalities.

The amendments come into effect on 30 September 2014.

Import licensing requirement

On 26 September 2014, Malaysia removed import requirements for all-terrain motor vehicles transporting less than ten people (HS 8703).

Previously, imports require letters of approval from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.

The amendment comes into effect on 30 September 2014.
