Import tariff

On 21 December 2018, the Federal Public Revenue Administration of Argentina has adopted General Resolution 4372/2018 increasing the reference price for imports of certain parts of string instruments classified under tariff subheading NCM 9209.92.00. 

The new reference price has been increased from a FOB value of USD 10.80 per kilogram to a FOB value of USD 35.73 per kilogram. The previous applicable reference prices were established in General Resolution 2953/2010. 

The new reference prices affect the following jurisdictions: the Republic of Korea, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, China, Chinese Taipei, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

This measure entered into force on 31 December 2018.
