In December 2018, the Argentinian authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain wood fibreboards from Brazil. In August 2019, the investigation was terminated without the imposition of definitive duties.

Anti-dumping

The antidumping investigation on imports of wood fibreboards from Brazil was initiated on 7 December 2018. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 4411.92.10, 4411.92.90, 4411.93.10 and 4411.93.90. This investigation follows the application lodged by FIPLASTO S.A. The resolution initiating the investigation was published on 6 December 2018.

On 29 April 2019, the Argentinian authorities issued Resolution 46/2019 deciding to continue the antidumping investigation without the imposition of provisional duties.

On 27 August 2019, the Argentinian authorities terminated the antidumping investigation on imports of wood fibreboards from Brazil without the imposition of definitive duties.
