Import tariff

On 17 April 2009, the Federal Administration for Public Revenue of Argentina (i.e. AFIP by its Spanish acronym) adopted External Notice 31/2009 establishing reference prices on imports of radiators classified under tariffs subheading NCM 8516.29.00.

The new reference price was set at a FOB value ranging between USD 5.00 and USD 22.00 per unit depending on the characteristics of the product. Previously to this notice, no reference prices applied to this tariffs subheading.

The new legislation affected the following jurisdictions: the Republic of Korea, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, China, Chinese Taipei, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

This measure applied to imports taking place as of 18 April 2009.
