Import tariff

On 6 February 2009, the Federal Administration for Public Revenue of Argentina (i.e. AFIP by its Spanish acronym) adopted External Notice 5/2009 increasing the reference prices set on imports of guitars classified under tariffs subheading NCM 9202.90.00. 

The new reference prices were increased from a FOB value ranging between USD 15.00 and USD 51.00 per unit to a FOB value ranging between USD 18.00 and USD 68.00 per unit depending on the characteristics of the product. 

This External Notice affects the following jurisdictions: the Republic of Korea, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, China, Chinese Taipei, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

This measure applied to imports taking place as of 7 February 2009.
