Import tariff

On 21 November 2017, the EEU announced a temporary waiver of import duty on magnetrons with working frequency of 2.44-2.47GHz and power output of 600-1000 watts. The waiver is in force between 1 January 2018 and 1 January 2020. Ordinarily magnetrons (EEU CN code 8540 71 000) are subject to an 8% import duty.
