ANNOUNCEMENT 22 Aug 2017

On 22 August 2017, the EEU announced a temporary waiver of import duties on polyvinyl chloride and acrylic polymers in primary forms for the production of wallpaper. On 5 December 2018, the polyvinyl chloride waiver was extended until 1 January 2021.

Import tariff

On 22 August 2017, the Eurasian Economic Commission announced a temporary waiver of import duties on acrylic polymers in primary forms (3906 90 900 4) for the production of wallpaper. The waiver was in force between 2 September 2017 and 1 September 2018. The ordinary ad-valorem duty on the said products is 6.5%.

On 22 August 2017, the Eurasian Economic Commission announced a temporary waiver of import duties on polyvinyl chloride (3904 22 000 1) for the production of wallpaper. The original waiver, in force between 2 September 2017 and 1 September 2018, was extended until 1 January 2021. The ordinary ad-valorem duty on the said products is 6.5%.
