Export tax

On 5 March 2013, the Federal Administration of Public Revenue adopted General Resolution 3448/2013 eliminating the criterion values on exports of raw leather and skins classified under tariff subheadings 4102.10.00 and 4102.29.00. The previously applicable reference prices ranged between a FOB value of USD 2.28 and USD 3.19 per kilogramme.

The jurisdictions affected by this new legislation were: Finland, Hungary, Israel, Nigeria, Norway, Poland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Korea, China, Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Lao, Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Chinese Tapei, Vietnam, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Japan, Malta, Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands and Portugal.
