In March 2010, the government of Indonesia initiated a new anti-dumping investigation.

On March 31, 2010, the Indonesian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of hot-rolled plate from China, Singapore and Ukraine.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 7208.5100 and 7208.5200.
The dumping is suspected to have occurred between October 1, 2008, and September 30, 2009.
On October 1, 2012, the Indonesian authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of hot-rolled plate from China, Singapore and Ukraine. The rate of the duty on imports originating in China is 10.47%. The rate of the duty on imports originating in Singapore is 12.33%. The rate of the duty on imports originating in Ukraine is 12.50%.
On May 22nd, 2015, the Indonesian authorities initiated a sunset review of the above-mentioned anti-dumping measure.
This follows the request lodged by PT. Mount Rajapaksi, PT. Dianjaya Gunawan Steel and PT. Jaya Pari Steel.
On 2 April 2016, following the conclusion the above-mentioned sunset review the Indonesian authorities extended the above definitive anti-dumping duty (Regulation No. PMK-50/PMK.010/2016). This definitive duty is in force for a period of three years.
