Anti-dumping

Representatives Charles Boustany (R-LA) and Cedric Richmond (D-LA) introduced a bill (H.R.5708) entitled the 'Preventing Recurring Trade Evasion and Circumvention Act' or PROTECT Act on May 10, 2012. The purpose of the bill is to prevent evasion of antidumping and countervailing duty orders. The measure was referred to the House Ways and Means Committee, of which Boustany is Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight.
