Import tariff

The Indian Government has increased the tariff value of the following commodities:

  1. HS 740400 22: Brass Scrap (all grades)--Tariff value US $ 4237 Per Metric Tonne (increased from $4214)
  2. HS 120791 00: Poppy seeds: Tariff Value US $2853 (increased from $2439)

While the tariff value for gold has been reduced from US $ 573 to US $ 539 and that of silver has been reduced from US $ 1145 to US $ 1032.
