Import tariff

As confirmed by the Permanent Delegation of El Salvador to the WTO, the government of El Salvador has eliminated import tariffs on seeds of caraway, fennel and juniper berries. Also import tariffs on rye and barley flour have been abolished.

The tariffs have been abolished as of 27 July 2011.

As bilateral trade on the affected tariff lines does not exceed the GTA's de minimis threshold of USD 1 million, no affected trading partners have been identified.
