Import licensing requirement

In a measure confirmed by the Permanent Delegation of Argentina to the WTO, the government of Argentina has introduced mandatory, non-automatic import licensing for cars and other motor vehicles with engines exceeding 2'500 cc from 21 March 2011.
 
The measure was suspended on 25 January 2013 by Resolution 11/2013.
