In September 2018, the European Commission initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain welded tubes, pipes and hollow profiles from Macedonia, Russia and Turkey. The investigation was terminated without the imposition of duties in June 2019.

Anti-dumping

The antidumping investigation on imports of certain welded tubes, pipes and hollow profiles of square or rectangular cross-section, of iron (other than cast iron) or steel (other than stainless) from Macedonia, Russia and Turkey was initiated on 28 September 2018. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheadings: 7306.61.92 and 7306.61.99. This investigation follows the application lodged on 14 August 2018 by the Defence Committee of the welded steel tubes Industry of the European Union.

On 28 June 2019, the European Commission terminated the antidumping investigation on imports of the subject good from Macedonia, Russia and Turkey without the imposition of duties. The termination follows the Commission's conclusion that the injury was negligible.
