Trade finance

On February 17, 2014, a 39.118 billion yen ($359 million USD) loan agreement was signed with the Republic of Iraq and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for the Port Sector Reconstruction Project. This loan will be part of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency's STEP program which implies that the loan will go towards providing Japanese technology, civil engineering work, equipment procurement and consulting services.
