Export tax

On 5 March 2010, the Federal Public Revenue Administration adopted General Resolution 2790/2010 establishing criterion values on exports of apples classified under tariff subheadings 0808.10.00 and 0808.20.10.

The established criterion values correspond to a FOB value ranging from USD 0.55 to USD 0.95 per kilogramme in the high season and between USD 0.42 and USD 0.78 per kilogram in the medium season. Previously to this Resolution, no export criterion value applied.

This measure affects the following countries: Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, Russia, Canada, United States of America, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil, Peru, Colombia and Venezuela.

This resolution entered into force on 9 March 2010. 

Update
On 14 March 2011, a new Resolution was published modifying the applicable export tax on apples (please, see related state acts).
