In June 2018, the Argentinian authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain aluminium radiators for domestic use from Italy, Spain and China. In November 2019, a definitive antidumping duty was imposed.

Anti-dumping

The antidumping investigation on imports of certain aluminium radiators for domestic use from Italy, Spain and China was initiated on 29 June 2018. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 7615.10.00. This investigation follows the application lodged by P.E.I. S.A. The resolution initiating the investigation was published on 28 June 2018.

On 5 December 2018, the Argentinian authorities issued Resolution 121/2018 deciding to continue the antidumping investigation without the imposition of provisional duties.

On 22 November 2019, the Argentinian authorities imposed a definitive antidumping duty on imports of certain aluminium radiators for domestic use from Italy, Spain and China. The rate of duty on imports from Spain is ad valorem 66% of the FOB value. The rate of duty on imports from Italy is ad valorem 75% of the FOB value. The rate of duty on imports from China is ad valorem 87% of the FOB value. The duty is in force for a period of five years.
