Import tariff

On 31 August 2018, the Brazilian Foreign Trade Council adopted Resolution 58 increasing the import duty on eight tariff subheadings as the result of the changes introduced in the List of Exceptions to MERCOSUR's Common External Tariffs. The affected tariff lines are 2707.50.10, 2905.17.20, 3003.90.17, 3004.50.60, 3105.30.00, 3823.70.10, 3823.70.40 and 8708.95.21. The import duties have been increased from values ranging between 0% and 2% to values ranging from 4% to 18% depending on the product.

This Resolution enters into force on 1 January 2019.

Import tariff

Resolution 58 adopted by the Brazilian Foreign Trade Council (CAMEX) on 31 August 2018 also decreased the import duty on five tariff subheadings as the result of the changes introduced in the List of Exceptions to MERCOSUR's Common External Tariffs. The affected tariff lines were 0802.22.00, 2916.12.20, 3702.10.20, 5504.10.00 and 9209.91.00. The import duties were decreased from values ranging between 6% and 16% depending on the product to 2%.

This Resolution enters into force on 1 January 2019.
