State loan

On 19 July 2018, the BNDES announced the approval of a loan of BRL 48.5 million (circa USD 12.5 million at the time of the announcement) allocated to Companhia Riograndense de Saneamento (Corsan), a Brazilian water sanitation company. The objective of these resources is to implement the sewage system in the municipality of São Luiz Gonzaga and to expand the water supply of the municipality of Panambi.

In the case of Panambi, a total of BRL 27.3 million (USD 7 million) will be invested to renovate the pipelines and elevators of the treatment plants, as well as creating two new reservoirs.

As for the project in São Luiz Gonzaga, the city lacks a sewage system and the purpose of the project is to construct the required treatment plant and collecting networks.
