In May 2018, the Turkish authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of polystyrene from Iran. In December 2018, a definitive duty was imposed.

Anti-dumping

The antidumping investigation on imports of polystyrene from Iran was initiated on 22 May 2018. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 3903.19.00.00.00. This investigation follows the application lodged by Aschem Petrokimya Sanayi A.Ş.

On 31 December 2018, the Turkish authorities imposed a definitive duty on import of the subject good from Iran. The rate of duty is 11.3% of the CIF value.
