In March 2018, the Colombian authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of citric acid from China. The investigation was terminated without the imposition of duties in February 2019.

Anti-dumping

The antidumping investigation on imports of citric acid from China was initiated on 13 March 2018. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 2918.14.00.00. The investigation follows the application lodged by SUCROAL S.A.

On 15 June 2018, the Colombian authorities concluded the preliminary investigation and decided to continue the investigation without the imposition of provisional duties.

On 28 February 2019, the Colombian authorities terminated the investigation on imports of citric acid from China without the imposition of definitive duties.
