On 23 October 2017, the Permanent Delegation of Brazil to the WTO announced that as from 28 June 2017 the government had implemented a new Single Window system to facilitate export operations. The purpose of the new platform is to allow exporters to submit through this system all documentation required by the Customs authorities. Initially, the system was implemented for air-shipped cargo and was gradually extended to road, rail and maritime transportation.
