The National Bank for Economic and Social Development of Brazil (i.e. BNDES by its acronym in Portuguese) allocated USD 13.3 million to Boa Safra Sementes to assist in the expansion of the company.

On 4 June 2018, the BNDES announced the allocation of BRL 50 million (USD 13.3 million at the time of the announcement) to finance the business expansion of Boa Safra Sementes. The objective of the resources is to help the consolidation of the company and the development of national production of soybean and bean seeds.
This loan was provided under the BNDES Giro program that offers credit loans with beneficial annual interests rates composed of the Financial Cost, the BNDES Fee (ranging between 1.5% and 2.33%) and the Financial Agent Fee. All credit lines have a repayment period of up to five years.
