In June 2018, the Argentinian authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain electric disconnectors from Italy. The investigation is still in progress.

Anti-dumping

The antidumping investigation on imports of certain electric disconnectors from Italy was initiated on 14 June 2018. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheadings: 8535.30.17, 8535.30.18, 8535.30.19, 8535.30.27, 8535.30.28 and 8535.30.29. This investigation follows the application lodged by LAGO ELECTROMECÁNICA S.A. The resolution initiating the investigation was published on 13 June 2018.

On 31 October 2018, the Argentinian authorities issued Resolution 394/2018 deciding to continue the antidumping investigation without the imposition of provisional duties.

On 12 June 2019, the Argentinian authorities terminated the antidumping investigation on imports of certain electric disconnectors from Italy without the imposition of definitive duties.
